April 2020 – A major bonus with BioAmmo’s cartridges is that they have cup-shaped driving wads (and NOT flat fibre wads!) for both their steel and lead loads.

February 2020 – During my recent visit to Reykyavík in Iceland, I was extremely fortunate to meet the inspiring and extremely welcoming president of the Icelandic Hunting Association, Áki Ármann Jónsson. He kindly offered me the opportunity to speak to his members via live streaming that evening and also invited me to a very productive meeting with a number of specialists at the Environment Agency. This actually led to the Minister hearing about BioAmmo and then requesting a personal briefing from Áki as he was so enthused by the fact that there is now a truly biodegradable and non-toxic cartridge available for his country. He even suggested applying the principle of the “polluter pays” to any cartridge that has any plastic in it. A great and visionary idea!
Whilst at the Agency I was also fortunate to be introduced to Ólafur Vigfússon, owner of Veidihornid, that has been serving the shooting and outdoor communities for over 20 years. This Game season they are hoping to introduce BioAmmo cartridges to Iceland too.

It is quite remarkable to think that in just a matter of months, the BioAmmo site in Santa María la Real de Nieva, Segovia, was transformed from an area of unproductive land, through the early stages of its construction and on to a completed, state-of-the-art facility that was employing local people and preparing to produce its revolutionary 0% plastic BioAmmo cartridges with their 100% biodegradable wads AND cases.

February 2020 – BioAmmo becomes a Gold Patron of the European Federation for Hunting and Conservation (FACE) at the Jagd und Hund Show in Dortmund, Germany.
Thanks to the warm generosity of Barrel and Boar, our incredibly enthusiastic distributor based in the Netherlands (but also operating in Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg), BioAmmo is now an active supporter of the essential work that FACE are continuing to do, representing the voices of all the European Hunting Associations and promoting a proactive approach to the the numerous conservation issues that impact on the environment and its wildlife across the continent.

January 2020: Jason Pisani, his brother and close colleagues from our Maltese distributor, Malta Protection Services, paid a visit to the BioAmmo factory in Segovia and then went to try out our cartridges with Jorge Guardiola at his shooting school in the Club de Tiro, Madrid. The competition between them was intense as they all responded to Jorge’s challenges and had great fun getting familiar with tremendous BioAmmo’s cartridges too.
December 2019 – Michal Pawela, from Regiment Warszawa, BioAmmo’s Polish distributor, visited the factory and then came to the Club de Tiro in Madrid to enjoy using our 100% biodegradable cartridges with Jorge Guardiola.
Michal has been an enthusiastic supporter of BioAmmo for many years and will soon be receiving his first consignment of BioAmmo cartridges for the Polish market.

November 2019 – Everyone at BioAmmo was delighted to welcome our wonderful Hungarian distributors, Zsolt Kardos and Andrea Csapó, to our factory in Segovia and then on to the Club de Tiro in Madrid to try BioAmmo’s 0% plastic cartridges, with their unique 100% biodegradable wads and cases, for the first time. Guiding them there was the owner of its shooting school, the Olympic medalist and BioAmmo shareholder, Jorge Guardiola, and BioAmmo’s president, Enrique López-Pozas.
Zsolt and Andrea have been enthusiastic supporters of BioAmmo for many years and will be promoting and distributing the cartridges in their home country of Hungary through their well-established business, Zn-tech, and their “Gun House” shop. They will also be distributing to the adjacent countries of Slovakia and Romania.

October 2019: Two more of BioAmmo’s distributors, Nordis from Finland, and Silverglen from Andorra, visited our BioAmmo factory and then had a great deal of fun trying out our cartridges with Jorge Guardiola and our president, Enrique, at at the Club de Tiro in Madrid.
October 2019 – Following his third visit to our factory, Nick Levett-Scrivener from “Shooting Star”, BioAmmo’s U.K. distributor, had great fun trying out our cartridges with Jorge Guardiola, Olympic medalist and enthusiastic BioAmmo shareholder, at his shooting school, that is based at the Club de Tiro in Madrid.

January 2020: BioAmmo’s President, Enrique López-Pozas, and International Markets Director, Peter Chatland, attended SHOT Show 2020 in Las Vegas where they met numerous companies and trade associations. All of them were very keen to get BioAmmo’s cartridges into their respective countries and regions as soon as possible, recognising what a game-changer our products really are as no other company is able to offer completely plastic-free cartridges with 100% biodegradable wads AND cases. Also accompanying them was BioAmmo USA’s CEO, Bill Stenger.
There was even a little time to take in the “sights of Venice” – a surreal, yet beautiful and memorable experience in the Venetian Hotel where it is always sunset!
